Deburr Machine Operator/Paint Booth Operator

Location: Franklin, Indiana
Pay/Shift:
3:00pm-11:30pm
$19.25 hour
Preferred Skills for Deburr Machine operator:
Entry level to two years experience in machine operation required.
Duties:
Primary duties are to operate Mori Seiki machines and parts washers, honing and deburr machines in order to turn raw castings into machined parts, and communicate with the Machining Team Leader the condition and status of the machines as needed. This includes necessary tool changes to part defects, inspecting for quality using gauges and calipers, and working in and around large machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Learn the machining processes necessary to complete quality, machined parts.
- Communicate daily to the Machining Team Leader the need for tool changes or adjustments to the machine to complete good parts.
- Maintain a steady workflow to complete the necessary number of parts required per day, week, or month.
- Understand and know how to use measuring gages to complete good parts.
- Good attendance is required.
- Knowledge of the Metric system a plus.
- Must be able to lift 45 pounds intermittently, and repeatedly lift up to 12 lbs.
- Must be able to be on your feet 8 hours a day, with a 30-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness

- Other duties as required
Preferred Skills for Paint Booth:
Entry level to two years experience in paint booth operation.
Essential job duties:
Primary duties are to operate the paint booth and work with overhead crane system. Must be able to be on your feet for 8 hours and be able to lift up to 45 pounds.
All duties and responsibilities are to be done in a Safe Manner at all times.
- Learn proper painting sequence of all oil control and power steering valves.
- Properly clean components of paint equipment.
- Communicate daily to the Team Leader the need for tip/tool changes or adjustments to the machine to complete good parts.
- Maintain a steady workflow to complete the necessary number of parts required per day, week, or month.
- Must be able to pay attention to detail and have priority for quality.
- Will be trained to unpack, tube cutting and backup for harness process.
- Good attendance is required.
- Knowledge of the Metric system a plus.
- Must be able to be on your feet 8 hours a day, with a 30-minute lunch and two 10-minute breaks.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness
- Follow the companies Environmental and Safety Commitments
- Other duties as required
