Job Title: Bead Blaster/Polisher
Overview:
Join our team as a Bead Blaster/Polisher where you will play a crucial role in polishing and bead blasting parts using high RPM polishing wheels and sand media. Your responsibilities will include bead blast preparation, taping parts, and light polishing using hand tools like Dremel. This role offers competitive pay rates and opportunities for overtime work on Saturdays.
Required Skills:
- Experience in polishing parts with high RPM polishing wheels
- Proficiency in bead blasting parts with sand media
- Ability to prepare parts for bead blasting (taping parts)
- Skill in light polishing with hand tools like Dremel
- Capability to lift and carry trays of parts weighing 5-15 lbs
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with different types of polishing wheels and techniques
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or polishing environment
Pay Rates:
- 1st Shift: $16.50/hr
- 2nd Shift: $18/hr
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work 1st or 2nd shift
- Availability for overtime work, including Saturdays
