Position Overview:
Works as a member of the Power Steering Valve production team. Machines castings into component parts and completes other duties as required. Preferred Skills: Ability to use hand tools, team commitment and comprehension of quality. Basic math skills. Must be able to use calipers to conduct in process quality checks. Knowledge of making minor adjustments to CNC programs. Our client is looking for someone with CNC experience and understanding of machining process.
Essential Job Functions:
- Learn the machining process of new PS line.
- Operating multiple CNC machines.
- Fast paced work environment must be able to meet daily target.
- Material Mounting.
- Polish Mounting.
- Tool changes, conduct quality check, and make offset adjustments as needed. Spool, sleeve, housing.
- Perform monthly PM duties.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to abide by the terms of limited vacation during training.
- Excellent attendance.
- Attention to detail in a fast past environment.
- Must be able to lift 45-50 lbs.; must be able to be on your feet 8 hours a day.
