Position: Quality Control Team Member
Location: Automotive- Quality Control Facility, Richmond Hill, GA
Starting Pay: $20.20 per hour
Must be available for 2nd and 3rd Shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality control (QC) tests at different production stages
- Inspect and report product quality, labeling, and parts allocation
- Conduct minor repairs and follow established QC procedures
- Maintain quality processes, 5S standards, and QC equipment calibration
- Enter data into the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Assist in investigations, problem-solving, and implementing countermeasures
- Attend and provide training as required
- Work overtime and rotate shifts if needed
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards
Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in manufacturing or quality control
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and collaborate effectively
Preferred:
- 2-year technical degree
- 2+ years in a QC lab within high-capacity manufacturing
- Knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, and Six Sigma methodologies
- 1-3 years of automotive experience
