Forklift Operator Details:
- Load picked orders or (pull & load) according to policies and procedures, completing appropriate paperwork including Bill of Lading, Pick Report, Trailer Audit and Lot Verification.
- Unload, move, stack and stage customer products and materials both by hand and using forklift or other power equipment, keeping appropriate records and reports.
- Assign / verify trailers to appropriate dock and/or yard location, trailers locked to dock-lock and/ or chocking the wheels (if applicable), following all safety rules and Company policy.
- Prepare trailers prior to loading product by inspecting and cleaning as needed to ensure product preservation.
- Assists in building and grounds maintenance to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, neat safe and orderly manner.
Shifts:
- Day Shift: 5am-3pm (Wed-Sat)
- Night Shift: 3pm-11:30pm (Mon-Friday)
- Night Shift: 3pm – 1am (Wed-Sat)
- Night Shift: 3pm -1am (Sun – Wed)
- Temp to Hire after 90 Days
- Overtime available
Forklift Driver Responsibilities
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Two (2) years forklift experience including specific Reach Truck experience required
- Knowledge of inventory control, Auditing, Count back and general warehouse procedures
- Light data entry skills required
- Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures
- Ability to write legibly
- Must have basic math skills
- Must have attention to detail for continuous mental and visual attention
- Must be a Team Player
- Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
Forklift Driver Requirements:
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check
- Must have 1 year of Forklift experience on Electric Pallet Jack, Cherry Picker and Standup reach.
- Must have 1 year experience in Inventory/Cycle Count
- Must have 1 year experience in Auditing and Count Back experience
