Now Hiring Day Care Teachers for various positions in the Louisville area! $15/hr.
Family Tree: Our goal at Family Tree is to provide compassionate, energetic and patient individuals to various day cares in the Louisville area. The ideal candidate would have a passion for working with young children to develop, nurture and create a stimulating environment. Flexible schedules provided to work full and part time.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Provide a safe, clean and nurturing environment for children ranging from newborn to Pre-K.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational activities and programs to support the physical, emotional, intellectual and social development of children.
- Supervise indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety at all times.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding the child’s progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Assist with feeding, diapering and maintaining a regular sleep schedule for infants and toddlers.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, including sanitization of toys and play areas.
- Follow health and safety guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in ongoing training and development.
- Dependable and punctual.
Requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma/equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and KARES Background Check.
- Training through ECE Tris is required within the first 90 days and ongoing.
- Negative TB test or Chest X-ray (not required to apply, but will be required to start).
