Inventory / Logistics Operations Specialist

Location: Bloomingdale, GA 31302 — Savannah area
Pay: $22.20 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: On-site

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory / Logistics Operations Specialist to support inventory management, production planning, customer communication, and sales operations. This role coordinates with customers, internal departments, and manufacturing facilities in Mexico to maintain accurate records and support timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Production Coordination

Receive customer production schedules and enter information into SAP.
Identify inventory shortages and create shipment orders.
Coordinate production schedules with manufacturing facilities in Mexico, accounting for production capacity and international holidays.
Develop monthly sales plans and assist with annual business planning.
Prepare customer documents, respond to inquiries, and coordinate complaint resolution.

Shipping, Invoicing & Sales Support

Prepare daily shipment reports and monthly delivery summaries.
Reconcile shipment and delivery information with customer records.
Issue invoices, process sales transactions in SAP, and coordinate with finance.
Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments as needed.
Prepare monthly sales closing reports.

Compliance & Operational Support

Maintain country-of-origin documentation for imported products, including origin qualification ratios for products manufactured in Mexico.
Respond to customer requests for origin-related documentation.
Support new customer setup, including vendor and banking registration, in coordination with finance.
Prepare finished goods inventory audit reports.
Prepare corrective action reports for inbound product issues and customer claims.
Travel to customer locations as needed.

Qualifications

Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Experience in customer operations, supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing coordination preferred.
Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred.
Spanish proficiency Required.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
A dependable, consistent work ethic and close attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work across departments in a fast-paced environment
