Quality Team — Quality Inspector
Malone Workforce Solutions is NOW HIRING Quality Inspectors in Champaign, IL!
We are specifically seeking candidates with prior quality-related work experience or previous experience in a role that required strong attention to detail, inspection, accuracy, or following detailed specifications.
QUALITY EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Candidates without prior quality, inspection, manufacturing quality, production inspection, or comparable detail-oriented work experience should not be advanced for this position.
This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in a brand-new automotive manufacturing facility. Multiple shifts are available, with opportunities for overtime.
Starting Pay: $15.50/hour
Pay Increase: $18.75/hour after 720 hours worked
Payday: Every Friday

Primary Responsibilities

Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and specifications

Identify defective, damaged, or inconsistent parts

Follow detailed work instructions, quality procedures, and specifications

Perform visual and/or dimensional inspections as required

Document quality issues and communicate defects or inconsistencies to the appropriate team members

Maintain accuracy and consistency while performing repetitive inspection tasks

Monitor production processes and identify quality concerns
-
Work closely with production and quality team members to maintain product quality

Perform other quality-related duties as needed to support production flow
Quality Inspector Qualifications
Required:
-
Prior quality, inspection, manufacturing, production, or other detail-oriented work experience
-
Demonstrated ability to identify errors, defects, inconsistencies, or discrepancies
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-
Ability to follow written work instructions and specifications
-
Ability to read and understand English
-
Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift
Preferred:
-
Automotive or manufacturing experience
-
Previous Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, Production Inspector, Auditor, or similar experience

Experience using measuring tools or inspection equipment
-
Experience working with quality standards, procedures, or documentation
Important Screening Requirement:
Candidates should have previous work experience that demonstrates quality awareness, inspection ability, accuracy, or exceptional attention to detail. Examples may include quality inspection, manufacturing, production, warehouse accuracy, auditing, laboratory work, machining, assembly, inventory control, data entry, or other roles where identifying errors and following detailed procedures were important parts of the job.
