Job Title: Floor Technician & General Cleaner

Job Summary:
Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring dependable Floor Technicians and General Cleaners to support operations at a large distribution facility in Houston, TX (77038). We are looking for candidates with floor care experience as well as individuals interested in general cleaning roles. This is a great opportunity to secure steady, full-time work with multiple shift options available.
Available Positions & Shifts
Floor Technician Roles ($14.50/hr):
- Weekday Morning Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (3 openings)
- Weekday Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 3:30 AM (3 openings)
General Cleaner Roles (Pending Start Dates):
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5 openings) – $13.00/hr
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 5:00 AM (openings available) – $13.50/hr
Floor Technician Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain carpeted and hard surface floors
- Perform stripping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, refinishing, sealing, and spot cleaning
- Operate floor care equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety procedures in designated work areas
- Complete additional duties as assigned
Floor Technician Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 months of floor care experience required
- Ability to operate floor cleaning machinery
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
General Cleaner Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain assigned areas (warehouse, facility spaces, etc.)
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust furniture, fixtures, vents, lights, and blinds
- Clean restrooms, windows, and common areas
- Empty trash and maintain overall cleanliness
- Follow instructions and complete additional duties as assigned
General Cleaner Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Must be flexible and willing to perform various cleaning tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Additional Requirements:
- Must bring valid ID on first day
- Composite toe shoes are required
- Must be dependable and able to work assigned shift
