Warehouse Machine Operator
Location: Niles, IL
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
About the Role
We are hiring a Machine Operator to safely operate and maintain production equipment across Pre-Whip, Liquid, and Palletizer operations. This is a hands-on, multi-skilled role supporting production efficiency, product quality, and food safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, monitor, and perform changeovers on production equipment
- Make process adjustments and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Perform quality checks and complete production documentation
- Operate date coders and verify accuracy
- Follow GMP, food safety, OSHA, and plant safety standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Support cross-functional production needs as trained
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience (food manufacturing preferred)
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and reach throughout the shift
- Lift up to 55 lbs
- Work in varying temperatures and high-noise areas with PPE
