Pay: $18/hour | 1st & 2nd Shifts Available
Malone Staffing is seeking detail-oriented and safety-conscious individuals for Laser Machine Operator positions in Charlotte, NC. These are full-time, temp-to-hire opportunities with room for growth in a manufacturing environment.
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Job Summary:
The Laser Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts according to customer specifications. This role includes some basic programming, quality inspections, and assisting with equipment maintenance and changeovers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate laser equipment efficiently and safely
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure quality standards
- Adjust equipment as needed to maintain production quality
- Record production and quality data accurately
- Assist with training other team members on operational procedures
- Support preventative maintenance and report equipment issues
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Collaborate with team members and assist with other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, routers, and production documents
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Proficient in basic math and measurement tools
- Ability to follow safety protocols and operate equipment responsibly
