Job Title: Quality Inspector (2 Shifts Available)
Job Type: Full-time | Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Location: Lincolnshire, IL
Pay: $19.00 – $21.30 per hour + $2.00/hour shift differential
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Job Description
We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to support our manufacturing operations at our Lincolnshire facility. This position is responsible for inspecting components and materials to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment and be comfortable using precision measurement tools.
Responsibilities:

Perform inspections on mechanical components according to company specifications

Record and report inspection results using established software systems

Submit non-conformance reports (NCRs) for defective or out-of-spec materials

Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve quality concerns

Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to guide inspection criteria

Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges
-
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following housekeeping and safety standards

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Quality Supervisor
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or mechanical inspection role

Working knowledge of quality control equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
-
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings
-
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently

Clear communication and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during shift
-
Lift and move objects up to 20 lbs without assistance
-
Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks with small components
-
Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with variable temperatures and moderate noise
