Brake Press Operator
Pay: $19.00/hour
Location: Addison, IL
Shift: Must train on 1st shift, then transition to 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 1:00 AM, Monday-Thursday)

We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operators in Addison, IL. This position involves operating a press brake machine to bend sheet metal into specified shapes and sizes. Ideal candidates will have experience working with blueprints and CNC equipment, as well as a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints to understand required bends and part specifications
Set up the press brake with appropriate tooling, settings, and material alignment
Operate the press brake to perform precise metal bending
Inspect and measure finished products for accuracy and quality
Troubleshoot and maintain the press brake to ensure proper functioning
Follow all safety protocols within the manufacturing environment

Requirements:

Previous experience operating a press brake, including setup and troubleshooting
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and blueprints
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of quality standards related to metal bending
Experience with Cincinnati ProForm 175 Ton x 12' CNC Press Brake is a plus
Willingness to train on 1st shift before moving to 2nd shift
