Inventory & Shipping Coordinator
Location: Frankfort, IL
Pay: $20.00-$35.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30pm Later end of day if needed
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
We are seeking a highly organized Inventory & Shipping Coordinator to join our team in Frankfort, IL. This is a hands-on warehouse position responsible for inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving, material movement, and supporting production. This is not a supervisory role–we're looking for someone who takes ownership of their work and thrives in an organized environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and reach trucks
- Pull orders and stage materials for production and finishing departments
- Supply production machines with required materials
- Monitor inventory and maintain accurate inventory records
- Perform quarterly cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
- Verify packing lists and shipping documentation
- Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure products are secured for transport
- Communicate shipping status and order updates with internal teams via Outlook and verbal communication
- Monitor warehouse supply inventory and report replenishment needs
- Maintain organized storage areas and safe forklift aisles
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, inventory control, or warehouse operations
- Forklift and reach truck experience required
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Outlook, Excel and able to communicate effectively with internal departments
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
- Experience in metal distribution, industrial manufacturing, or food warehouse inventory is highly preferred
- Experience performing cycle counts and maintaining inventory accuracy is a plus
