Production & Packing Team Member

Position Details
- Pay: $17.00 per hour
- Location: Georgetown, KY
- Employment Type: Temporary-to-hire, with potential for full-time employment
- Day Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Night Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:30 PM-5:00 AM
- Overtime: Required as needed
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
- Benefits: Available

What You’ll Do
As a Production & Packing Team Member, you’ll help keep manufacturing operations running smoothly. Depending on your assignment, responsibilities may include:
- Packing, labeling, inspecting, and preparing products for shipment.
- Assembling boxes and packaging materials.
- Moving and organizing materials and finished products.
- Assisting with production equipment and basic machine operations after training.
- Checking products for quality and reporting damaged or defective items.
- Preparing shipments and completing basic production paperwork.
- Keeping your work area clean, organized, and safe.
- Working with team members to meet production goals.
- Following safety procedures and required personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for individuals who are ready to learn, work hard, and contribute to a team.
Successful candidates should be able to:
- Perform hands-on production, packing, and material-handling tasks.
- Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
- Lift and move materials or products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Work an assigned shift and overtime as needed.
- Arrange reliable transportation to the Georgetown, KY facility.
- Meet applicable pre-employment screening requirements, including a drug screen and background check.
- Have or obtain required PPE, including steel-toe shoes.
No previous manufacturing experience? You can still apply. Relevant experience is helpful, but candidates who are dependable, motivated, and willing to learn are encouraged to be considered.
Skills Assessment
Candidates may be required to complete a ruler-reading assessment as part of the hiring process. This assessment measures the ability to read standard ruler measurements in eighths (1/8 inch) and sixteenths (1/16 inch).
Education & Experience
A high school diploma or GED may be preferred or required, depending on the position and company requirements. Previous experience in manufacturing, production, packaging, warehousing, or material handling is a plus, but is not required for all opportunities.
