Production & Packing Team Member
Malone Staffing Solutions is hiring dependable individuals for a temporary-to-hire Production & Packing Team Member position with Minova, a global manufacturer and supplier of powder, resin, and anchoring solutions in Georgetown, KY.
This is a hands-on manufacturing position involving production, packing, material handling, and shipping preparation. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
Position Details
- Pay: $17.00/hour
- Location: Georgetown, KY
- Employment: Temporary-to-hire with opportunity for full-time employment
- 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 6:30 PM-5:00 AM
- No 2nd Shift Available
- Overtime: Required as needed
- Pay: Weekly
- Benefits: Available
Job Responsibilities
Depending on the assignment, team members may:
- Package, label, inspect, stack, palletize, wrap, and prepare products for shipment.
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials and finished products.
- Operate entry-level production equipment after training.
- Assist with basic machine setup and production operations.
- Perform quality checks and report damaged or defective products.
- Assemble boxes and packaging materials.
- Complete basic production, packing, and shipping paperwork.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Follow company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Work as part of a team and assist in other production or packing areas as needed.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must:
- Be interested in a $17/hour temporary-to-hire manufacturing position.
- Be available for either the 1st shift or 3rd shift schedule listed above.
- Be able to reliably commute to Georgetown, KY.
- Be comfortable with hands-on, physical manufacturing and packing work.
- Be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Be able to lift and move materials or products weighing up to 45 lbs.
- Be willing to work required overtime.
- Have reliable and consistent attendance.
- Be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Have or be able to obtain required PPE, including steel-toe shoes.
- Be willing and able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Required Ruler-Reading Test
Candidates must pass a ruler-reading exam before moving forward in the hiring process.
The exam focuses primarily on accurately reading measurements in eighths (1/8 inch) and sixteenths (1/16 inch) using a standard ruler.
Candidates should be comfortable identifying measurements accurately on a standard ruler.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred/required according to company requirements.
- Previous production, manufacturing, packing, packaging, warehouse, or material-handling experience is preferred but not required.
