Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Summary:
The Machine Operator operates production equipment, monitors machine performance, performs routine maintenance, and ensures products meet quality specifications while following all workplace safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production machinery according to specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is an advantage.
- Ability to read work instructions and operate production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- May require standing for long periods, lifting materials, and working rotating shifts, weekends, or overtime.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
