Warehouse Onsite Specialist -Bilingual
Location: University Park, IL
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00/hour (DOE)
Are you a people-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment? We're looking for a Warehouse Onsite Specialist to support daily staffing operations, assist employees, and serve as the primary point of contact at our client's distribution center.
This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to support multiple shifts.
Schedule
- Must be flexible with work hours based on business needs.
- Daily employee check-ins begin as early as 5:30 AM for 1st shift.
- Must also support 2nd shift check-ins at 3:00 PM.
- Schedule may vary depending on staffing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily employee check-ins for multiple warehouse shifts.
- Welcome and onboard new employees.
- Distribute and maintain inventory of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Serve as the onsite point of contact for associates and client management.
- Assist with employee coaching, attendance tracking, and policy communication.
- Coordinate new hire starts and orientations.
- Monitor headcount and staffing needs throughout the shift.
- Resolve employee concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed.
- Maintain accurate attendance, onboarding, and reporting documentation.
- Partner with recruiters and branch staff to ensure staffing goals are met.
- Foster positive employee engagement and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Previous staffing, recruiting, HR, onsite management, or warehouse leadership experience preferred.
- Warehouse or distribution center experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work early mornings and afternoons.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
