Now Hiring: Mill Operator
Location: Franklin, KY
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Shift: 12:00 AM – 7:00 AM
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. If you have experience operating milling machines and take pride in producing high-quality work while maintaining a safe work environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Core Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and monitor milling machines, including CNC horizontal, vertical, and bar feed lathes, to cut, drill, bore, grind, and shape metal and other solid materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to produce parts within precise tolerances.
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, replace worn tools and components, and keep equipment clean and in proper working condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Record machine settings, materials used, and production data for quality control and reporting.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding machine performance, maintenance needs, and production issues.
Qualifications
- Experience operating milling machines, preferably CNC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Knowledge of basic machining processes and manufacturing safety practices.
- Ability to work independently while meeting production goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
