Job Summary:
We're looking for a detail-oriented Operations Associate to join on a full-time, temporary assignment to provide coverage during an employee leave. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly.
In this role, you'll be responsible for accurate data entry and managing B2B customer orders while collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure orders are processed efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and has exceptional attention to detail with strong communication skills.
Operations Associate Responsibilities:
- Enter and review B2B sales orders, checking for accuracy and adjusting based on inventory availability.
- Communicate order delays, shortages, or adjustments to the sales team in a timely manner.
- Process returns and buyback requests by creating RMAs and coordinating LTL pickups with carriers.
- Maintain and update customer-specific inventory data and transmit via EDI system.
- Prepare, review, and send shipment notifications to customers.
Operations Associate Requirements:
- Previous experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records.
- Strong internal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with direct teams and cross-functional departments, including Sales and Accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage and organize data efficiently.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to process returns, create RMAs, and coordinate logistics activities such as carrier pickups.
- Experience maintaining inventory records and managing customer-specific data with a high level of accuracy.
- Familiarity with EDI systems or electronic order processing is preferred.
Schedule:
- Full-Time – Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm
Pay Rate:
- $20-22/hr
