Now Hiring: Data Entry / Shipment Coordinator
Pay: $19.50 per hour
Location: University Park, IL
We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry / Shipment Coordinator to join our growing team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong computer skills, data entry experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment. If you enjoy working with spreadsheets, entering accurate information, coordinating schedules, and communicating with vendors, we'd love to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities:
- Enter and maintain accurate shipment and inventory data.
- Review and reconcile shipping information for accuracy.
- Update reports, spreadsheets, and tracking logs.
- Respond to emails and communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal departments.
- Monitor inbound/outbound shipment documentation and resolve issues.
- Prioritize urgent shipments and update records as needed.
- Assist with reporting and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain organized documentation and ensure timely data entry.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, logistics, or a high-volume office environment.
- Strong typing and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or logistics software is a plus but not required.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
