Malone is hiring dock workers to support a major cross-dock operation in Memphis moving pre-destined, pre-labeled containers. The Dock Worker is responsible for loading, unloading, organizing, and moving materials and products in a factory or warehouse shipping and receiving area. This role ensures that incoming and outgoing shipments are handled safely, accurately, and efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Position Details:
- 1st shift M-F 6AM-2:30PM paying $19 per hour
- 2nd shift M-F 3PM-11:30PM paying $20 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Organize inventory in designated storage areas.
- Prepare orders for shipment by packing, labeling, and staging products.
- Verify shipping documents, packing slips, and inventory records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized loading dock.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Report damaged goods, equipment issues, or inventory shortages to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or dock experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
- Basic math and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work OT/weekends as needed.
