Malone Solutions is seeking a reliable and motivated 2nd Shift Janitorial Supervisor to lead and support a cleaning team in Greensboro, NC. This position is responsible for supervising cleaning staff, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Greensboro, NC
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday | 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Frequency: Weekly Pay
Responsibilities
- Provide direction, motivation, and guidance to a team of cleaners
- Conduct quality inspections within assigned work areas
- Ensure cleaning standards and customer satisfaction expectations are met or exceeded
- Assist with training housekeeping and janitorial staff
- Help create daily and weekly work schedules and assignments
- Support team members with cleaning duties as needed
- Maintain communication with supervisors and staff regarding job expectations and performance
Cleaning Duties Include
- Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
- Cleaning and maintaining carpets and hard surface floors
- Dusting furniture, vents, lights, blinds, and fixtures
- Emptying trash and wastebaskets
- Cleaning restrooms, windows, and common areas
- Maintaining cleanliness in buildings, facilities, or assigned workspaces
- Performing additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during shift
- Flexibility to perform various cleaning duties as needed
