Plant Manager

About the Role:
Our Partner client is actively seeking a dynamic Plant Manager to lead their cutting-edge facility in Warren, Michigan. If you're a great leader with a background in plastic injection molding, we want to hear from you.
Our client is a premier provider of engineering solutions, specializing in advanced composites and engineered resins. They are at the forefront of innovation, addressing complex design and manufacturing challenges across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols within the facility.
• Develop and maintain efficient production schedules to meet organizational objectives.
• Drive initiatives to control and minimize operating costs.
• Deploy strategies to optimize production output and efficiency.
• Conduct thorough analysis of workplace and labor productivity metrics.
• Supervise and mentor a team of three Production Supervisors across three shifts.
• Oversee employee performance management processes, including performance reviews, goal setting, disciplinary actions, career development, and succession planning.
• Forecast production outcomes and manage inventory levels on a daily basis.
• Address and resolve employee concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Interacting with clients & coworkers; professional & respectful

Qualifications:

• 5+ years progressive management experience in a manufacturing setting required
• Degree in Engineering, Business, or similar preferred – Not required with relevant experience.
• Plastic Injection Molding experience
• Automotive Experience preferred
• Strong Health & Safety record
• Strengths in leadership abilities – able to inspire and motivate teams
• P&L experience and ability to develop departmental budgets is a plus
• Comfortable regularly interacting with customers
