We are hiring Visual Inspectors for a local Elizabethtown manufacturing facility. Visual Inspector Highlights:
- $14.00/hour | Weekly pay
- 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Monday – Friday | 10-hour shifts
- First day only: report at 7:00 AM
- After-work conditioning hours required during training
- Attendance bonus: $25/week weeks 1-3, $75 bonus at week 4 for perfect attendance
- Temp-to-hire opportunity with room to grow
Visual Inspector Summary: Examine manufactured parts before shipment to ensure every piece meets strict quality standards. This is a seated, detail-focused role where your consistency and attention protect the customer from defects.
Visual Inspector Responsibilities:
- Sit at a designated inspection station and examine parts one by one for defects or quality issues
- Use trained judgment to determine whether each part meets quality standards
- Separate non-conforming parts and set aside for review
- Maintain a steady, focused pace to meet daily production targets
- Keep your workstation clean and organized throughout the shift
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
Visual Inspector Qualifications:
- Must score 70% or higher on the pre-employment math and comprehension evaluation (handwritten, no calculator)
- Must submit to a 10-panel drug screen including THC
- Must submit to a 7-year background check (no sexual offenses, no violent offenses; felonies reviewed case by case)
- Background check must be cleared before start date – no pending backgrounds accepted
- Must be available Monday through Friday with no pre-planned absences in the first 90 days
- Must be available to start on a Monday or Tuesday
- Baseball-style hat required (candidate must provide their own)
- Safety glasses provided by Malone
- Closed-toe slip-resistant shoes, work pants, and non-offensive shirt required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused during repetitive tasks
