Contour Inspector/Visual-1st shift
$15 per hour
Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Note: Must be capable of starting at 5:00 AM as needed
Position Overview:
This position involves performing visual and contour inspections of parts to ensure quality standards are met before shipment to the customer. The role is primarily seated with some walking and may require working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections of parts prior to shipment
- Measure parts using a contracer/computer system
- Record inspection data accurately
- Communicate results to operators
- Follow training process for visual inspection before advancing to contour measurement
- Maintain attention to detail while completing repetitive tasks
- Meet production goals once certified, without passing defects
Requirements:
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform a single task for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment at times
- Must be able to meet production expectations and quality standards
