Malone Staffing Solutions is seeking versatile, multi-skilled individuals to join our team as Production & Warehouse Associates for a manufacturer and producer of meat-based protein snack bars and chips in Winchester, KY.
Production & Warehouse Associates Benefits:
Compensation: $15.00 – $17.00/hour
Position Type: Temporary to full-time hire position
Schedule: First shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Machine Operator)
Second shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Machine Operator)
First shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Packaging Associate)
Second shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Packaging Associate)
First shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (Forklift)
Second shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Forklift)
Overtime: Optional
Location: Winchester, KY
Additional details: Weekly pay, eligibility for PTO and Holiday pay and benefits available
Production & Warehouse Associates Duties:
* Set up packaging machines and scales according to production requirements
* Maintain quality specifications throughout the production process
* Adjust scales to ensure accurate measurements and packaging
* Monitor and maintain packaging speeds based on package size and product type
* Complete shift production paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
* Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of equipment operation and troubleshooting techniques
* Perform equipment and scale setup as needed
* Monitor and maintain fryer oil levels for optimal performance
* Ensure seasoning levels are adequate and adjust seasoning application as necessary
* Conduct oil filtration procedures to maintain equipment integrity
* Implement waste reduction initiatives to improve efficiency and minimize losses
Production & Warehouse Associates Skill & Education Requirements:
* High School Diploma/GED
* Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
* Must possess a valid driver’s license
* Able to meet attendance requirements
* Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
* Proficiency in equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
