Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring a Shipping Clerk for a solid local company and great company culture! Malone Workforce is seeking a motivated qualified Shipping Clerk 1st shift.
Job Description:
Temp to hire experienced shipping clerk needed
1st shift. Monday- Friday starting at 6am-
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and package items for shipment
- Generate shipping labels and documentation (invoices, packing slips)
- Verify order accuracy (items, quantities, addresses)
- Coordinate with carriers (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS)
- Track shipments and update records in inventory systems
- Maintain shipping logs and filing systems
- Inspect outgoing packages for damage or errors
- Communicate with warehouse staff and customer service teams
- Handle returns or shipping discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping with inventory experience required.
- Basic computer skills (data entry, shipping software)
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation is a must.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a Team.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a good attitude.
- Comfortable working a 8-10-hour shift Monday – Friday starting at 6am.
