Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring a machine shop operator specializing in precision manufacturing solutions. The company prides themselves on commitment to quality, innovation, and efficiency. We are seeking a motivated individual to join as an Entry Level machine Operator for their 1st shift. Monday- Thursday 6am-4:40pm shift.
Job Description: As an Entry Level Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process, responsible for operating and maintaining machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who looks to begin a career in the machining industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate machines (milling or turning) to produce parts in accordance with work instructions.
- Load raw materials into machines and monitor the production process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform basic machine maintenance tasks, lubrication, and cleaning, to keep equipment in optimal working condition.
- Inspect finished parts for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during the machining process and make adjustments as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and targets.
Qualifications:
- Good math skills and math test are required, and a test will be given and need an almost perfect score.
- Previous experience in machines or manufacturing is preferred but not required, willing to train a hard worker with a good attitude with good math skills will qualify to apply and test.
- Basic understanding of machining principles and operations and safety.
- Strong attention to detail and quality orientation is a must.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a Team in a slower paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic and a good attitude.
- Comfortable working a 10-hour shift Monday – Thursday starting at 6am.
