Job Title: Die Setter

Malone Solutions is recruiting Die Setters for an industrial manufacturing client in the Columbus area.
Pay
$25/hr DOE
Shifts (All Available)
1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Position Summary
The Die Setter is responsible for installing, setting up, and maintaining dies, tooling, and related equipment used in production presses. This role ensures safe, efficient operation and consistent production of high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and change over dies, tooling, and fixtures on production presses
- Align and adjust tooling to meet specifications and tolerances
- Program and adjust press controls for optimal performance
- Monitor startup and verify product quality before production release
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions
- Perform preventive maintenance and maintain records
- Adjust machine settings per process sheets
- Operate presses as needed to support production
- Support Engineering and Quality teams with new launches and improvements
- Train operators on setup, safety, and operation
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3-5 years experience in die setting, tool & die, or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Basic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout shift
- Manufacturing environment with noise, heat, and machinery
Work Environment
Industrial manufacturing setting
Required PPE in designated areas
