Malone is hiring for a Production Line Leader in Missouri City, TX!
Pay Rate: $22.00 – $23.00/hour
Shift: 6am – 7pm (3-4 day schedule)
Position Overview
The Production Line Leader plays a key role in driving operational performance by overseeing daily production line activities. As part of the Production Leadership team, this role supports Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and ensures the achievement of safety, quality, cost, production, and employee engagement goals. The Line Leader is responsible for coordinating team efforts, maintaining equipment performance, and ensuring adherence to operational standards.
Key Responsibilities

Support TPM initiatives to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost, Production, and Engagement targets

Ensure all associates comply with safety, food safety, and quality standards

Verify that all required quality checks are completed accurately and on time

Maintain and update production reports and documentation
-
Ensure materials and supplies are available to support uninterrupted production
-
Execute production schedules in the most efficient and cost-effective manner

Communicate production issues and collaborate on timely solutions

Manage line activities including startup, changeover, and shutdown processes
-
Analyze line performance data to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement

Operate machinery as needed while maintaining optimal line performance
-
Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments

Perform equipment inspections and minor repairs
-
Support the implementation and adherence to operational standards and procedures
-
Ensure compliance with Standard Work, 6S, and Quick Changeover practices
-
Develop and support team capabilities, including Equipment Owner I & II roles
-
Monitor productivity metrics and product quality on assigned lines
-
Participate in Kaizen events and help sustain continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
-
Previous experience in production or manufacturing required; food manufacturing preferred

Strong experience operating and troubleshooting machinery/equipment
-
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a production environment

Ability to analyze data and drive process improvements

Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Physical & Work Requirements

Ability to work 12–14 hour shifts, 3–4 days per week

Flexibility to work weekends as needed
-
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks as required
