Financial Analyst (Accounting Focus)
On-site | Georgetown, KY
Direct Hire | Full-Time
$60,000-$65,000 (based on experience) + 10% STI Annual Bonus
Malone is recruiting on behalf of our client for an Financial Analyst to join their Finance team on-site in Georgetown, Kentucky. Our client is a global industrial manufacturer with more than 140 years of stability and innovation.
This role offers hands-on exposure across financial analysis, reporting, and core accounting functions, working closely with operations and leadership in a collaborative, on-site environment.
What You’ll Do:
Financial & Revenue Analysis
- Prepare routine sales and revenue reports
- Analyze variances versus budget and forecast
- Support gross margin (GM) analysis and performance tracking
Reporting & Accounting Support
- Assist with monthly financial reporting and account reconciliations
- Prepare schedules and documentation for audits and tax filings (prepared externally)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with operations, sales, and accounting teams
- Help maintain data accuracy and integrity across systems
Critical Requirements – Experience/Skills/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- 1-4 years of relevant experience in core accounting functions, financial analysis, and/or financial reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data
- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
