We are partnering with a highly stable aerospace manufacturing company to hire a Finance and Accounting Manager for their modern, state-of-the-art facility in the Greater Rockford area. This is a key leadership role, reporting directly to the President and working closely with executive leadership to drive financial strategy and growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As Finance and Accounting Manager, you’ll oversee all financial and accounting functions while helping shape the company’s financial direction. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on accounting and strategic leadership.
Key areas include:
- Financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Month-end close, financial reporting, KPIs, and compliance
- AR, AP, inventory, fixed assets, payroll oversight
- Bank covenant monitoring and owner reporting
- Risk management and internal controls
- M&A financial integration support
- Leadership of customer service and administrative functions
- Acting as HR Generalist in partnership with external HR support
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Strong experience with month-end close, forecasting, and compliance
- Ability to communicate confidently with executives and owners
- Self-motivated, ethical, analytical, and detail-driven
