Staff Accountant
Position assists in the preparation of monthly financial statements and other financial reports and analyses as required. Responsibilities include ensuring integrity of the General Ledger involving payroll and fixed asset accounting, analysis of accruals, and reconciliation of numerous accounts. Also serves as a backup for various other accounting disciplines, such as Sales and Use tax administration, inventory and cost accounting.
Position Perks:
* Full-time temporary project
* $35 – 40 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Various general accounting duties involving reconciling general ledger accounts
- Prepaid Accounting
- Proficient knowledge of reconciliation and ledger transactions
- Payroll Accounting
- Fixed Asset Accounting
- Month-end closings and balancing of various general ledger accounts
- Inventory Accounting
- Backup for Cost Accounting, Treasury, and Sales & Use tax administration.
Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting
- 2-5 years’ experience in accounting preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel skills
- Prefer experience with Dynamics AX
- Integrity & honesty
- Good documentation and attention to detail required
- Must have excellent analytical and communications skills and be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
