Malone Solutions is recruiting for a Safety Specialist for one of our manufacturing clients in the Columbus area.
Location: Columbus, IN
Shift: 2nd Shift 2pm-10:30pm
Pay: $18.00
Summary:
The Safety Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, clean and compliant workplace environment. This position ensures that all safety protocols, procedures, and programs are actively supported and consistently followed across the facility. Responsibilities included routine inspections, audits, inventory management of safety supplies, emergency preparedness, documentation, and assisting with safety training and communication.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a safety, compliance, or industrial environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with personnel at all levels
- Comfortable working independently and managing task
- Proficient with basic computer applications (Microsoft word, Excel, Power Point)
