If you’re hands-on, detail-oriented, and enjoy working with precision tools, this is your opportunity to take your mechanical skills to new heights. Malone is hiring Repair Technicians for a growing aerospace repair facility in Machesney Park, IL.
These are Temp-to-Hire positions offering long-term stability, full-time weekday hours, and valuable industry experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Inspect, repair, and recertify airplane components following FAA and quality control standards.
- Disassemble and repair tray tables and other aircraft parts manufactured onsite.
- Use measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
- Follow documentation and work instructions closely to meet strict compliance standards.
- Gradually advance to more complex repair projects as you gain experience.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to use small tools.
- Comfort reading and following technical documentation (English fluency required).
- Experience using measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous repair or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.
Schedule & Pay:
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. CST (no overtime)
- $18.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience
- Weekly Pay!
