GENERAL LABOR
Location: Downtown Louisville
Shift: 1st Shift (Flexible Schedule Available)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)
Pay: $18.00-$19.00/hour (based on experience)
Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to join our production team at a leading chemical manufacturing facility in downtown Louisville. This position plays a vital role in supporting plant operations by assisting technicians and supervisors with equipment setup, maintenance, and overall production flow. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn within a hands-on industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the operation, inspection, and cleaning of production machinery and support equipment.

Perform light maintenance, lubrication, and troubleshooting under supervision.

Monitor equipment for proper performance, reporting any mechanical or safety issues promptly.

Aid in startup, shutdown, and changeover processes for production lines.

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.

Follow all safety and environmental guidelines to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Collaborate closely with supervisors and team members to achieve daily production goals.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance settings preferred.

Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

Comfortable using hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and time management skills.

Ability to work in environments with heat, noise, and physical activity.

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
