Industrial Manufacturing Associate
Location: Columbus, IN
Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Schedule (Includes Every Other Weekend)
Position Type: Full-Time
? Pay & Shift:

1st Shift (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM): $15.60/hour
-
2nd Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM): $16.10/hour
? Bonus Opportunity:
$300 Retention Bonus paid after successful completion of 90 days of assignment.
Must pass an aptitude test to be considered.

Position Responsibilities
Machine Operator
-
Handle wheels throughout production process
-
Perform 100% visual inspection using inspection sheets
-
Deburr all sharp edges and remove chips from wheels
-
Check plate and pin according to production line and wheel model
-
Inspect cap and pilot 100%
-
Complete dimensional audits and SPC checks at required intervals
-
Make minor machine offsets as needed
-
Lift wheels onto skids
-
Properly tag all skids
-
Brush deburring, balance, and inspect wheels
-
Maintain smooth product flow to downstream processes
-
Work as part of a team to keep production line moving continuously
Cast Operator
-
Communicate clearly (read, write, and speak effectively)
-
Promote and follow all company safety policies
-
Visually identify product defects
-
Follow work instructions and quality documentation systems
-
Meet productivity expectations in a physically demanding environment
-
Lift up to 90 lbs
-
Work in hot conditions
-
Bend, squat, climb stairs/ladders as required
-

Assist with mold removal and installation
-
Assist with preventative maintenance cleaning
-
Make necessary equipment adjustments (casting machines, saws, mold conditions, blast, die coat, preheat, etc.)
-
Operate or be trained on robotic systems when required
-
Monitor equipment, gauges, mold movement, and system abnormalities
Paint Operator
-
Work 12-hour rotating schedule including every other weekend
-
Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
-
Load and install valve plugs into wheels and onto conveyors
-
Scan and inspect wheels for defects
-
Offload wheels from conveyors onto pallets
-
Install masking before powder application
-
Maintain cleanliness of work area as directed
Final Inspection Operator
-
Maintain regular attendance
-
Work 12-hour rotating schedule including every other weekend
-
Load and unload wheels on/off conveyor lines
-
Perform detailed visual inspection for surface imperfections (up to 60 defect types)
-
Check face, exterior, and interior diameters
-
Deburr wheels as necessary
-
Move conforming parts down production line; route non-conforming parts to fallout line
-
Document casting information and defect codes for rejected parts
-
Properly tag and palletize non-conforming parts
-
Enter reject data into computer system (cast code, date, mold, defect code)
-
Perform buffing rework when necessary
-
Place final wheels on pallets or containers per documented work instructions

Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Ability to lift up to 90 lbs (Cast Operator role)
