Press Operator

Hours: 1st Shift (4) 10 hour days M-THR 5:30am-4pm 
Note: The business is in it's peek season and currently working 5 days a week
Pay: $19 Hour Depends on Experience
Location: Seymour, IN

Malone Solutions is recruiting for a Press Operator for one of our clients in the Seymour area. This client specializes in ironing boards for all the big box and online stores. 

Overview: Looking for an experienced Press Operator. This candidate will be running 3 different stations. Working with dyes and transfer systems. Must have  3-4 years experience setting and changing dies to be considered. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviewing job orders to make the right adjustments to the  machine
• Installing parts and supplies such as dies.  
• Handling production of the printed materials, including the printing and racking process, to ensure it meets the specifications and is ready on schedule
• Performing maintenance tasks on the Top Press machine
• Troubleshooting equipment issues such as creaking noises, etc.

Skills: 

• Mechanical Aptitude: A basic understanding of mechanical principles and the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems is essential. 
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to interact with other team members and follow instructions. 
• Attention to Detail: Press operators must be able to identify and address any issues with the print quality, requiring careful observation and accuracy. 
• Problem-Solving: The ability to quickly and effectively resolve problems related to equipment malfunction or print quality is vital. 
• Safety Consciousness: Press operators must be aware of and adhere to all safety procedures.
