Housekeeping Associate
Location: Seymour, IN
Pay: $15.00 – $16.80/hour (based on shift)
Schedule: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Full-Time
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Overview
Malone Solutions is seeking a dependable and motivated Housekeeping Associate for a local hospital in the Seymour area. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness, infection control, and overall facility standards.
Note: Candidates must have stable work history and submit a resume for client review. This is not an immediate start–candidates must meet all hiring requirements before beginning.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards
- Perform proper handwashing and sanitation procedures
- Clean patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
- Complete room turnover within required timeframes:
- Occupied Room: 30-35 minutes
- Terminal Clean: 40-45 minutes
- Remove trash and soiled linens; restock supplies
- Handle and dispose of medical waste properly
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum assigned areas
- Maintain organized and stocked work areas
- Follow all safety and quality control procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Stable work history required
- Must submit a resume for client approval
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Must be dependable with strong attendance
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively
- Must be comfortable working around bodily fluids
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English (bilingual a plus)
- Must be available for rotating weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Must have or be willing to obtain required medical vaccinations
