Now Hiring – Material Handler – 2nd Shift
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL
Pay: $19.00 Hour
Type: Temp to Hire
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 1:00 pm – 11:30 pm
Join our team at the Buffalo Grove Distribution Center as a 2nd Shift – Material Handler. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity in a warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts)
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report issues
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and inventory management
- Receive and process inbound shipments and customer returns
- Execute daily cycle counting to maintain inventory accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
- Train and support team members to meet work standards
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years of warehouse experience (pick and pack environment preferred)
- 2+ years of lead or supervisory experience in a warehouse
- Experience with SAP or similar WMS, and RF equipment
- Forklift operator certification (sit-down, stand-up reach, Walkie-rider, order picker)
- Knowledge of general warehouse safety practices
