We are seeking a professional, personable, and highly organized Tours & Visitor Experience Coordinator to serve as a key point of contact for visitors in a major manufacturing facility in West Point, GA. This position serves as a key point of contact for guests visiting the facility and plays an important role in creating a welcoming, professional experience that positively represents the organization.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys working with people, is comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels, and can effectively coordinate multiple schedules and details.
Position Perks:
- Full-time, 1st Shift position
- Competitive starting pay @ $22/hour
- Monday – Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for visitors and guests entering the facility
- Respond to phone and other inquiries regarding tours, scheduling, directions, facility information, and visitor procedures.
- Coordinate and schedule plant tours, including tour dates, group information, internal communication, and related logistics.
- Welcome and check in visitors and provide clear instructions regarding facility guidelines, meeting locations, and tour expectations.
- Coordinate tour schedules and visitor needs with internal departments, management, and facility leadership.
- Communicate schedule changes, special accommodations, and other tour details to appropriate internal teams.
- Maintain accurate tour schedules, visitor information, and related records.
- Assist with additional visitor experience, public relations, or administrative activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, administration, public relations, education, tourism or similar field preferred
- Professional, friendly, and approachable personality
- Strong organizational, scheduling, and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, customers, community members, and the general public.
- Ability to manage multiple schedules, priorities, and last-minute changes while maintaining professionalism.
- Strong computer skills required, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to create, maintain, organize, and analyze spreadsheets and data.
