Malone Workforce Solutions is currently hiring a Counter Sales Representative for a warehouse in North Charleston, SC. We are looking for a candidate with a strong passion for customer service and experience working the sales counter for a warehouse distributer. The ideal candidate is looking for a long-term role in a stable environment with a family owned organization who truly cares about their team.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30
Pay: $17-20 Depending on experience

Duties and ResponsibilitiesAs a Counter Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding service to our walk-in customers. You will be the face of our company, responsible for providing product information, processing orders, and ensuring customer inquiries are handled efficiently and professionally
- Customer Service: Greeting and assisting customers who visit the Company’s counter or showroom with a friendly and helpful demeanor. Providing product information, recommendations, and solutions to meet customer needs.
- Order Processing: Receiving and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently. This may involve using computer systems to enter and manage customer records and orders.
- Quoting: Providing price quotes to customers based on their requirements and the Company’s pricing guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels and ensuring products are well-stocked on the sales floor. This may include restocking shelves, conducting regular inventory counts, and coordinating with the warehouse team.
- Technical Support: Offering technical assistance to customers who have questions or need guidance on product selection, usage, or compatibility.
- Sales and Upselling: Actively engaging with customers to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Recommending complementary products or accessories that can enhance the customer’s purchase.
- Resolving Customer Issues: Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and issues effectively and in a timely manner. Coordinating with other departments to resolve any problems related to deliveries, product quality, or service.
Requirements and Qualifications
– Prior experience in warehouse sales is a MUST
– Customer service experience is a MUST
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Valid driver's license
– Excellent mathematical and fraction skills
– Basic computer skills
– Good written and verbal communication skills
– Well organized
– Ability to multitask
