Malone Solutions is recruiting for a 3rd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician.
Hours: 12 hour shifts 7pm-7:30pm
Pay: Up to $34.50 depending on experience
Location: Walesboro, Indiana right off Interstate 65

SUMMARY:
This is a skilled position in several trades. Performs various skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment. Requires proficiency in a wide variety of disciplines, with working conditions and the degree of supervision exercised differing according to the location and nature of the assignments. Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
- Regular attendance and presence at work as scheduled.
- Ability to work a 12-hour rotating schedule, including every other weekend.
- All Maintenance Technicians are expected to train on day shift M-F 7am-3:30pm, this could last anywhere from a couple of weeks to a couple of months.
- Visually inspects and test machinery and equipment.
- Tests equipment performance using instruments such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges.
- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts of machinery.
- Adjusts, repairs, and replaces electrical, electronic and pneumatic control devices.
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
- Installs electrical conduit, wiring, switching, devices, controls, outlets, fixtures, motors, and other such equipment, 110V to 480V, both single and three phase.
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
- Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controller.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maintain PLC and CNC equipment with working knowledge of PLC logic.
- Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
- Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
- Prepares accurate records for preventive maintenance.
