Pump Tech Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Pump Tech to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring all pumping equipment and accessories are delivered and picked up in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. You will also ensure that all equipment is properly loaded for safe over-the-road travel and work closely with customers to verify the accuracy and completeness of deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently deliver and pick up pumping equipment and accessories to and from customer sites.
- Ensure all equipment is securely loaded on the truck for safe travel and unloading.
- Review equipment with customers at delivery or pickup to ensure completeness and accuracy of the order.
- Perform daily visual inspections of delivery equipment and document any service needs or issues.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate logbooks for deliveries, including mileage, fuel logs, and other relevant details.
- Ensure compliance with all company safety and transportation guidelines during the delivery process.
- Address any customer concerns or issues related to delivery and pickup promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance as needed.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with customers.
- Must submit to a drug test and background check
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment.
- Comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to operate a truck and associated equipment for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
- This position will involve travel to customer locations, often in remote or industrial areas.
