Malone is hiring a Body Technician to help convert new trucks for specialized purposes at a company on the East End of Louisville. If you have automotive, welding, or parts installation experience, this is a great opportunity.
Body Technician Highlights:
- Pay $18-$19 per hour depending on Experience
- Shift: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm OT until 4:30pm, Some Saturdays 7:00am-1:00pm

Body Technician Job Description:
- Perform custom conversions of new trucks, including installation of 4WD systems, winches, light bars, and other specialized equipment.
- Install parts using tools and techniques such as welding, cutting, and grinding to meet customer specifications.
- Modify truck frames and components for enhanced off-road capabilities or other custom applications.
- Wire electrical systems for lights, switches, and other electronic components.
- Inspect and test all modifications to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of conversions.
Body Technician Job Qualifications:
- Proficiency in welding or automotive parts installation,
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve mechanical or electrical challenges during builds.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, safe modifications.
- Physical capability to lift heavy parts and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, etc.)..
