Job Title: Machine Operator
Pay rate: $18-$19 hourly
Location: Columbus, IN
Shift Schedule:
2nd shift 3p-1130p
3rd shift 11p-730a
Job Duties:
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Complete production schedules and ensure product quality standards are met
- Monitor and adjust production processes to ensure product specifications are met
- Perform quality checks and inspections on finished products
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and inform management of low stock or supply needs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience in manufacturing or production operations preferred
- Knowledge of operating machinery and equipment
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Clean background check
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Basic understanding of math
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and overtime as needed
