Shipping Utility
Malone Workforce Solutions is Hiring for Day and Night Shifts!
Shift Options:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Pay: $19 – $20 per hour
The Shipping Utility will be responsible for assisting with various shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of shipments, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our shipping department and support our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of shipments by verifying and packing products according to established procedures and guidelines.
- Accurately label and document shipments using appropriate documentation.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure that shipments meet the required specifications and match packing lists.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely processing of shipments.
- Ensure that product is stored securely and appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, following safety guidelines and practices at all times.
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to shipping and receiving activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Self-Starter: Ability to be innovative and/or creative in their job and capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Must be able to read, write legibly, and effectively convey information.
- Active Listening: Must actively listen and understand others' points before responding.
- Math: Ability to complete basic math tasks.
