Malone Workforce Solutions is hiring a Fabric Cutter Labor production opening 1st in Henderson, KY
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Fabric Cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and attention to detail and be responsible for operating cutting machines to prepare materials for production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set-Up and Cutting: Prepare the cutting table according to production schedules and specifications. Use an electric high-speed vertical knife to cut materials as per pattern or specifications.
- Material Handling: Count the ply of cut materials, roll them into bundles, and properly tag and transport to the designated area using buggies or other equipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect cut parts for adherence to pattern and quality standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate daily records of materials cut.
- Housekeeping: Ensure a clean and organized work area around the cutting table.
- Team Support: Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Basic math skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to stand for long periods (8-hour shifts).
- Physical ability to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
Dress Code:
- Casual attire is acceptable.
- Closed-toe shoes are required, tennis shoes are ok!
Shifts & Pay: Starting pay is $14/per hour – raises given
- Shift: Monday – Friday, First Shift Only (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM).
- Temp-to-Hire: This is a temp-to-hire position with opportunities for raises and long-term career growth.
