Malone Solutions is searching for a Tooling Manager for a global manufacturer of OEM cast and machined precision castings for the automotive industry.
The qualified candidate will work with the Sr. Tooling Manager to produce solid models in CATIA of casting/gating systems. In addition, they will complete flow and solidification analysis to optimize gating utilization (NOVACAST). The ideal candidate must be able to communicate through all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers, both verbally and in writing. This position will coordinate new product sample schedules between tooling suppliers, sales, QA and production to meet customer requirements. Must have a proven track record to evaluate sample products and implement effective countermeasures for casting defects if needed.
Requirements:
- Associates degree, but a Bachelor degree is strongly preferred
- 5-7 years of tooling experience
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 Software
- Proven skills in using Microsoft Office
Preferred:
- Experience in an automotive OEM environment.
- Experience using NOVACAST Software
